Led a small design team to integrate TurboTax and Credit Karma, creating seamless cross-platform experiences. By reducing friction between the two, we expanded access to key features and empowered users to make smarter financial decisions.
Drove design strategy and messaging, crafted screens, workflows, and prototypes in Figma, played a key role in user testing, and presented findings to senior leadership.
Collaborated closely with teams across Credit Karma and TurboTax, including product, marketing, analytics, legal, research, and leadership, ensuring alignment and impact.

Lead User Experience Designer
HP (Nov 2016 - Jan 2020)
Led the end-to-end UX Design for the HP Tango printer's set up experience, designing across touch points from in-box messaging, packaging, mobile app, and the printer. The new design reduced setup time by 40%, and increased successful setups by 30%.
Won UX design award for the set up experience that I led, and have a patent-pending (WO2021054955A1) for an innovative setup guidance using synchronized lighting between devices.
Designed future experiences, and help build consensus, excitement, and organizational support for those ideas across the organization. Conducted user research, create test plans, build prototypes, and present findings in order to validate or improve designs. Incorporated new technologies, analytics, support-call data, and buzz sentiment analysis to identify opportunities and improve the experience.
